ORHIONMWON WARD CONGRESSES RERUN : AISOWIEREN WEEPS AT APC STATE SECRETARIAT.
It was a pitiable sight today at Edo State APC Secretariat as the self- acclaimed Leader of the Party in Orhionmwon LGA, Hon Patrick Aisowieren, member House of Representatives, representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode federal constituency, weeps over the order for a rerun of all the twelve wards congresses on Sunday.
In a sobbing tune, the embattled lawmaker said he has never gone through such rigourous process in the conduct of ordinary Congresses right from his days in PDP.
“After all there is not supposed to be honesty and fair play in politics. Are we in America ?”
He lamented that if he had expected the real contest as he is now being subjected through, he would have invested the money he has wasted on state officials of the party who promised to manipulate the process to his favour on servicing of the party structures in his constituency.
“Anselm Ojezua, Osaro Idah and Lawrence Okah have wrecked me my brothers .
“They asked me to form the allegations that specific party leaders in my area voted against Governor Obaseki for me to win Obaseki’s love and sympathy. Now how can those leaders forgive me “.
“I have wasted over sixty million naira on them and I am indebted, ” he lamented.
When one of the female staff asked him if Mr Chris Azebamwan whom he used to replace Comrade Godwin Erhahon as State Publicity Secretary couldn’t help him, he hushed her down .
“Forget about Chris. Was he not there when his people molested me in his ward last Saturday?
Ask him, he couldn’t get up from his seat.
“My sister, Comrade Erhahon is highly honoured in his place. Not Azebamwan.
“Nobody can dare Erhahon and Edoma in Ugu ward oooh! But Chris is nobody in his Ugbeka ward”
He said the few leaders who control the party structures in Orhionmwon LGA would not have demanded money from him.
“I have bluffed these key leaders to the extent that I told them I won’t allow consensus believing that the fake results that the state officials of the party asked me to submit ahead of the congresses would scale through.
“Now they have been rejected by Philip Shuaibu in their presence and none of them raised a voice in my support.
“I must tell you the truth : I can’t win more than two of the twelve wards in a free and fair contest.
“They have finished me my brothers.
“Pious Odubu holds Orhionmwon South like his house.
“I know that after the congress, Governor Obaseki will go and reconcile with those people. I will be left to face the disgrace alone.
“Since the congress was rescheduled, most of my anchor men have deserted me.
“Those who are still pretending to be with me probably want to collect my money and abandon me, ” he lamented as he staggered out to his car sweating in the cold weather.
