Orbih: crisis in APC will translate to PDP’s victory in Edo

The Edo State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dan Orbih, has stated that the party would dismantle the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, following the unending crisis rocking APC in the state.

Chief Orbih made this known at Igarra, Akoko Edo Local Council of the state, on Friday, during PDP leaders’ tour to six local councils in Edo North Senatorial District.

Orbih said: “History will repeat itself in 2020, as we had it during the PDP crisis, which led to emergence of Adams Oshiomhole as governor.“What is happening in Edo State has a history. Years ago, the PDP worked hard and installed a governor in person of Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor.

After he assumed office, he started quarreling with the party. There was a quarrel between Osunbor and Chief Tony Anenih. It was from that quarrel the APC took over the government.

Today, history is repeating itself. There is a quarrel between Adams Oshiomhole and Mr. Godwin Obaseki. From that quarrel, the PDP will come back to power.“If Godwin Obaseki has his way, PDP will win. If Adams Oshiomhole also has his way, PDP will still win,”Orbih said.Orbih, who described APC’s crisis as unique, said it was unfortunate the party has abandoned its sole responsibility of serving the people and has engaged in political fight.
