Singer, D’banj has broken silence on the death of his son, Daniel III. D’banj released a statement on behalf of his family, expressing their gratitude for the support they have received since the loss.
D’banj lost his 13-months old son, Daniel III, on Sunday, June 24th, 2018. The boy reportedly drowned in the pool located in the family’s Ikoyi residence.
Since the loss of Daniel III, D’banj took time away from the public space to mourn. However, he recently came out of mourning to appreciate all those who have shown his family support at this time. D’banj made a post on Instagram which read, ” we want to use this medium to thank everyone that has extended a hand of support to us during this period, On behalf of myself and family, we are awed by the demonstration of love and care from both near and afar.
