Congratulatory message to the Governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki.
I would like to offer you my most sincere congratulations upon your re-election as the executive Governor of Edo State. It gives me great pleasure to be part of this epoch making event. We knew it well before that it is going to be you and because of that, we were confident enough. It is good to see someone who gives so much, getting their just reward. The good people of Edo State have placed absolute confidence in your leadership and your plan of Making Edo Great Again. I know how much effort you have put in to achieve it and finally, you have achieved it.
Life is all about grabbing opportunities by the collar and squeezing them out till the very last drop. You have done that for your people by taking on the challenge of defeating the godfathers in order to free your people from their shackles, once and for all. You took up the fight of Edo people and fought it, like it was yours. You fought on even when others despared and you fought on at the expense of your exalted office. Well done, master! This fight and your eventual victory has opened up a new vista of political and economic opportunities for our people.
I wish you all the best in your second tenure in office. I believe I will see your hardwork in all the develomental projects that you have started. I know that with you, our people will see a new era once again and enjoy sustainable economic growth that would become the foundation upon which other future governors can build upon. Be rest assured of my continous support and fidelity to this course.
