In a swift and decisive move, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has neutralized Hassan Khalil Yassin, the newly appointed leader of Hezbollah, less than 24 hours after killing it’s former leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Yassin, a seasoned operative, was said to be responsible for planning and executing attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. His ascension to leadership was seen as a strategic move by Hezbollah to maintain continuity.
It is also reported that Hassan Khalil Yassin was a ruthless terrorist who orchestrated heinous attacks on innocent Israelis. His demise is a significant blow to Hezbollah’s capabilities,” stated an IDF spokesperson.
The precision strike, carried out in Beirut’s Dahieh district, demonstrates Israel’s unwavering commitment to protecting its citizens.
“Hezbollah’s terrorist activities will not be tolerated. We will take all necessary measures to safeguard our people,” emphasized Israeli Defense Minister.
International leaders are urging restraint amidst escalating tensions in the region.
This development marks a significant setback for Hezbollah, already reeling from recent losses of top commanders, including Muhammad Ali Ismail and Ibrahim Muhammad Qabisi.
As tensions escalate, Israel remains vigilant, reaffirming its resolve to combat terrorism.
In a similar development, there is a growing consensus for the call to order of Iranian regime which is widely alleged to be funding all the high profile terrorism and distabilizing the Middle East.
According to a respondent who preferred to remain anonymous, she asserts that for peace to reign in the Middle East, that Iran must be reigned in.
” If the world leaders want to end the hostilities in the Middle East, you have to dismantle Iranian regime and all the heads of the terrorists apologists and the head of the United Nations, Antonio Guteras calling Israel for a cease fire.
” It is the Iranian regime that funded Hamas to commit the October 7 massacre against Israel, funded the Hezbollah attack against Israel, funded the Houthis that attacked Israel, funding the Hezbollah and the Shi’a militias in Syria that killed five hundred thousand people and displaced millions of people, funding terrorism in Iraq etc.
She therefore admonished those accusing Israel, a country that is a victim attempting to protect itself, of hostilities and calling for a cease fire, to face the reality, by addressing the aggressor, the Iranian regime, adding that ” we will be ending the war in the entire Middle East if the Iranian reign of terror is dismantled.
But on his part, in a statement during a press conference at the UN General Assembly, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi emphasized that all 57 Arab and Muslim nations are prepared to guarantee Israel’s security if a Palestinian state is established based on pre-1967 borders. Safadi’s remarks came shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the assembly, reiterating his concerns about Israel’s security amid threats from its neighbors.
Safadi criticized Netanyahu’s refusal to endorse a two-state solution, arguing that his stance exacerbates tensions. “The Israeli prime minister came here today and said that Israel is surrounded by those who want to destroy it,” Safadi stated. He further asserted, “We’re here – members of the Muslim-Arab committee, mandated by 57 Arab and Muslim countries – and I can tell you very unequivocally, all of us are willing to guarantee the security of Israel in the context of Israel ending the occupation and allowing for the emergence of a Palestinian state.”
The Jordanian foreign minister highlighted the urgent need for peace, insisting that the current Israeli government’s policies undermine decades of efforts toward reconciliation. He expressed frustration over Netanyahu’s apparent dismissal of the two-state solution, questioning what alternative path Israeli officials envision. “If he does not want the two-state solution, can you ask Israeli officials what is their end-game – other than just wars and wars and wars?” he asked.
Safadi reiterated the Arab world’s commitment to fostering a peaceful coexistence where Israel can live securely alongside an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He lamented the damage inflicted by the current Israeli government on peace efforts, stating, “The amount of damage that this Israeli government has done – 30 years of efforts to convince people that peace is possible, this Israeli government killed it.” He concluded by urging the international community to recognize that while there may be no partner for peace in Israel at present, there is one in the Arab world.
